Here’s the thing – everyone wants long, thick, lush lashes. It’s been the case for a while now, as evidenced by the advent and popularity of products such as Mascaras, Volumizing Serums, Fake Eyelashes, Eyelash Extensions and the like.
The drawback is (and it’s a big one!) that all of these can cause allergies, irritations and fake lashes can even look over dramatized and ridiculous. So, should we sigh and make peace with the lashes we have?
Not necessarily. Coconut oil, much like it does for our hair, can add volume and thickness to your eyelashes with none of the side effects. Coconut oil is filled with many compounds that are beneficial to the human body, notably a wide range of natural fatty acids, such as lauric, myristic, caprylic, and capric acid, which are all medium chain fatty acids, essential building blocks for every cell in the human body.
As coconut oil penetrates your eyelash follicles it can stimulate hair growth. It can also fight against issues such as dandruff or other fungal infections—yes, people can still get these on their lashes. Coconut oil will also work as a cosmetic, visibly making your eyelashes softy and shiny.
This coconut oil for lashes recipe is sure to add length and dimensions you had only dreamed of – and it will be all natural, all real and all you!
